The Hot, The Cool, and The Not

(Updated 04.30.13)
The Hot:
  • Nate McClouth: His past seven days have him ranked as the number 1 (yes, you read that right) player in Yahoo! fantasy sports. He's 12-22 with 10 runs and 6 SB, to go along with a homer and 6 RBI. Not too shabby for the scantily owned Baltimore OF.
The Cool:
  • Matt Kemp: Over his past week, he's really picked it up. He went 7-23 (.304) and only struck out twice, while giving fantasy owners a homerun and a stolen base. Not amazing, but compared to the start of his season, it looks like the time to buy-low is quickly closing.
The Not:
  • Mike Trout: His sophomore season is already proving to be a rollercoaster ride, with more free falls than anyone saw coming. The number one pick in most drafts this year is 4 for his last 28 with 0 HR, 1 RBI, and 9 strikeouts. He's batting .252 on the year with 2 HR and 12 RBI (and 4 SB). It's respectable, but not what you want from your first round draft pick.

TEBOW.

In honor of Tim Tebow’s recent release from the New York Jets, it’s only fitting that we take a look at his future, if there is one, in the NFL. Below is a list of teams that could make Tebow fantasy-relevant again, should they decide to take a chance and sign him. Right now, of course, no teams appear too interested in signing Tebow, so this is all completely speculative.
